REGISTRATION & ADMISSIONS:
Registration of new students takes place continuously throughout the year.  However, we do recommend early registration in June in order to increase your chances of obtaining the most convenient schedule for the upcoming school year.  Starting music classes along with the beginning of the school year will also make it easier for students to develop practicing routines at home, which in turn will help them achieve the ultimate educational results and adequately prepare them for our school's annual concerts and recitals.

TUITION & PAYMENTS:

The basic monthly tuition of $180 is required during the first class of each month.
All classes are individual (one-on-one), last 45 minutes, and take place once a week.  Additional or extended classes are available.
The monthly tuition remains the same regardless of whether there are 4 or 5 classes in a given month.  However, there will be no make-ups offered for the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas recess from December 25th to January 1st, and two days during Easter.
The registration fee is required from every student during the first month if each school year.
The yearly curriculum fee is required only from one student per closest family (sister/brother).
Students taking more than one class per week receive a 20% discount for every additional class.
Families of students attending MEC will receive a 20% discount for additional members joining the school.

CLASSES & SCHEDULE:

Classes take place Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

All classes are individual (one-on-one), last 45 minutes, and take place once a week.

There is a Student Recital at the end of each school year, where students perform in front of an audience.
Students receive diplomas, motivational awards, as well as scholarships.

School is  closed during the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas recess from December 25th to January 1st, and two days during Easter - the full monthly tuition is required and there will be not make-ups offered for the above days.

ABSENCES & MAKE-UPS:

Music Education Center is not responsible for classes missed by students - the full monthly tuition is required regardless of the attendance.
Students who cancel classes at least 24 hours in advance will be placed on our make-up class list and will be regularly informed about possibilities of making their classes up.  However, MEC cannot guarantee and is not obligated to making up each and every class.
Classes cancelled by teachers will be rescheduled for the next available date.  If a class cancelled by a teacher cannot be made up, students will receive a refund or a credit for the next class.
School is closed during the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas recess from December 25th to January 1st, and two days during Easter - the full monthly tuition is required and there will be not make-ups offered for the above days.
